Our BeliefsFaith, Hope & Love Christian Fellowship is a Pentecostal church committed to the authority of God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in one God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, revealing His love, power, and desire for a personal relationship with each of us. We worship Him with joy and gratitude.We believe heaven and hell are real. All people have sinned and deserve judgment, but through His great love, God sent Jesus Christ to take our punishment on the cross. He died, was buried, and rose again, securing eternal life for all who believe.We believe salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith. A person is born again by believing in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord, and receiving new life in Him.We believe that believers are called to grow in their faith, live in obedience to God’s Word, and walk under the Lordship of Christ. Christians worship, study Scripture, gather in fellowship, and share God’s love with others in both word and action.We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience following salvation, empowering believers for life and ministry. The initial evidence is speaking in tongues as seen in the book of Acts.Core Beliefs

At Faith, Hope & Love Church, you will experience authentic Christian community as we gather to worship God, hear His Word, and grow in faith together. We are a Pentecostal church that holds to the core truths of Christianity: that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and rose again to give us eternal life. We believe the Bible and seek to live out its teachings of faith, hope, love, forgiveness, and truth.As a Pentecostal church, we believe in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. In the book of Acts, believers were filled with the Spirit and spoke in other tongues as a sign of His presence and power. We believe this gift is still for today, strengthening believers in prayer, worship, and daily life.Our desire is to be led by the Holy Spirit in all we do. Our services are simple and Spirit-led, with a blend of contemporary worship, hymns, and heartfelt praise. Biblical preaching is central, offering clear teaching, practical application, and encouragement for everyday life. Children are taught during the service in an engaging, Scripture-centered way.Because we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, we believe God still heals, provides, and transforms lives today. Nothing is impossible with Him.

Leadership
Pastor David Bowley - Senior Pastor
Pastor David Bowley is the founding pastor of Faith, Hope & Love Christian Fellowship, which he pioneered in 1993. Ordained by Rhema Bible Church in 1994, he is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, where he studied under Kenneth E. Hagin. His ministry is marked by a deep commitment to prayer, the authority of God’s Word, and walking in both the love and power of the Holy Spirit.Pastor David is a faithful teacher of Scripture, known for clear, practical preaching rooted in the Bible. He continually challenges believers to grow through personal prayer, studying the Word, and living a life that reflects Christ. His heart is to see people saved, strengthened in faith, and walking in God’s provision, healing, and victory.He has served in jail ministry, preached in churches and gatherings throughout the region, and helped lead multi-church prayer efforts. He also leads worship, writing and performing original songs, including his recording Heart of a Servant.A lifelong resident of the area, Pastor David holds a B.A. in History and a Master’s in Social Studies Education. He retired from secular work in 2016 to devote himself fully to ministry. He and his wife Norma live in Palatine Bridge and are blessed with three adult children and a granddaughter
Norma Bowley – Ministry Leader
Norma Bowley faithfully serves alongside her husband in many areas of ministry. She is the piano player not only at Faith, Hope & Love Church, but also at Shepherd’s Pasture Ministry and several other area churches, helping lead worship with both excellence and humility.A 1991 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, Norma has a deep love for the Lord, His Word, and His people. She has taught Sunday School for many years, helping children grow in their understanding of Scripture and the Christian life.After coming to saving faith and being filled with the Holy Spirit, her life was transformed through the power of God’s presence. She continues to walk in that faith, using her gifts to serve the church and encourage others.Norma is also a piano teacher, accompanist for school choirs and drama programs. She and David enjoy time with their family and remain deeply rooted in their local community.
As One Network Ministry
Faith, Hope & Love Church is grateful to be part of the As One Network, a faithful gathering of local pastors who have met each Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Canajoharie for many years.This fellowship brings together pastors from a variety of ministry backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to Christ and a desire to serve our community together. Each week, we take time to encourage one another, share in the burdens and joys of ministry, and pray for each church and the people entrusted to our care.Out of this unity, we also seek to serve the next generation. Throughout the year, we host community events for youth, including bowling outings, movie days during school breaks, and a joint Vacation Bible School in which each pastor takes part in teaching and leadership.Our desire is not only to strengthen one another as shepherds, but also to be a visible witness of Christian unity within our community.If you are in need of prayer, we warmly invite you to join us on Wednesday mornings.
